The Conference will be held during the National Trust’s Australian Heritage Festival The 2025 festival theme is Unearthed – revealing the past, bringing to light lesser-known histories and stories, and unearthing knowledge to empower younger generations as custodians of culture and tradition. This year the festival in NSW will be held between 18 April and 18 May
Catering will be platters for morning tea and lunch with scones, jam and cream for afternoon tea.
The keynote speaker will provide the Ian Jack Address, following the Inaugural Ian Jack Address at the 2021 Blue Mountains History Conference. You can access the background to the Ian Jack Address HERE
The following speakers will present on the day: Associate Professor Richard White: Keynote Speaker, Colin Semmler, Kate O’Neill, John Lanser, The Radio Players Blue Mountains, Lowell Tarling, Lorraine Corne and Robyne Ridge.

Parking: Disabled parking can be accessed via The Carrington driveway. Turn right at top of driveway and follow the sign for “Disabled Entry”. You can park in there and walk through to the hotel without the need to negotiate steps. All other parking is via Parke Street Carrington Cellars or use public transport.
The Raffle: A raffle will be drawn on the day with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased before the conference at 1 ticket $5 or 3 tickets $10. Contact secretary via the BMACHO email address.
