Seniors Festival Special at Valley Heights – 2 for the price of 1 Sunday 23 March 2025

Seniors Card holders are invited to join Valley Heights Rail Museum as they open their doors for the 2025 Seniors Festival.
On Sunday 23 March 2025, present your Seniors Card and receive their special ‘2 for the price of 1’ offer, in conjunction with this year’s Festival. Presentation of both Seniors Cards required on arrival.
Climb aboard the 1870s tram car and enjoy a ride behind the heritage 1890s steam tram as they take you back in time and experience Sydney’s earliest form of public transport.
After your ride, explore the display of historic locomotives and carriages inside the oldest steam locomotive roundhouse in NSW. What is the Fish and the Chips? Who is the Call Boy and what was his role? These questions and many more are answered through the displays.
Admire the collection of railway art and finally be sure not to miss the model displays including a working model of Valley Heights set during the 1950s.
The café offers a limited range of light refreshments including tea, barista coffee, milkshakes, cold drinks, pies, sausage rolls, gourmet sandwiches and ice creams.
All this and much more as you discover the rich railway history of the Blue Mountains.
