Bears from far and wide are packing their bags and heading to the Blue Mountains for a great adventure. After 12 months hibernating, the Museum’s resident Teddies are ready for fun…
Take a 20 minute journey** on the Steam Tram with Teddy by your side – hourly from 10:30 until 14:30 (last ride at 14:30) – online booking preferred.
Send Teddy for a thrilling adventure on the TEDDY BEAR EXPRESS** (bears only – four times per day) then join the ‘Spot the Teddies Competition’ – shy Teddies are hiding, ready to be discovered – search for them, take photos & submit your free entry – maybe win a prize!
Meet ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’ Bear: share their hoard of ‘Gummi Bears’ – a pack for every child.
Climb on carriages and engines: listen to ‘Harry’ and ‘Charlie’ as they prepare for duty on their 1916 steam loco. Enjoy all the Museum’s fantastic exhibits, including 2 working model train layouts, before a relaxing hot or cold drink in the cafe to accompany a pie, sausage roll or gourmet sandwich, then browse for that unusual gift or souvenir.
