After your ride, explore 100 years of rail history, inside the historic time capsule of the 112-year-old roundhouse. Climb inside the locomotives and carriages and discover the hidden treasures within our museum’s display of small exhibit items, learn about the commuter trains the Fish and the Chips, read about the role of the depot Call Boy and admire the railway art collection.
Be sure to see the working model railway depicting the Valley Heights depot in the 1950s.
If you still haven’t warmed up from what you have seen, relax in our quaint café and tempt your taste buds with our limited range of light refreshments including hot and cold beverages, pies, sausage rolls, gourmet sandwiches.
